HOPE works with individuals in Dublin?s North Inner City to helping
them find abstinence based recovery from addiction. We provide a
complete Care Plan, including family support and advocacy work on
housing, education and employment.
ROLE (INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:)
Taking on a case load of clients experiencing addiction, building a
therapeutic relationship and helping them to develop a care plan
towards addiction recovery.
Duties include: Uploading clients on HRB data base and keeping
excellent records; Site visits to other agencies; Ensuring that the
clients are involved in the development and implementation of their
care plan; Attend supervision; Attend client case review meetings.
Comply with all of HOPE?s health and safety policies and codes of
conduct, to ensure that a consistent delivery of service, quality
standards and best practice is adhered to at all times.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Education: Minimum of FETAC level 7 or equivalent in addiction
studies or related field.
* Experience: Three years? experience working within the drug and
alcohol field.
* Familiar with Mental Health services, Familiar with HSE Addiction
services; Familiar with various evidence-based models of
rehabilitation, counselling, and recovery approaches. Experience of
the implementation and evaluation of care planning/case management.
* Must work well within a team. Excellent communication and
listening skills; Enjoys working with people, is approachable and
friendly; Has clear professional and personal boundaries; High IT
literacy skills.
